A Message from Principal Scott

Dear Students, Families, and Community Members,

It is with great joy and enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the Principal of MS 266 Park Place. I am deeply honored to join this vibrant community in District 13 and to embark on this exciting journey with all of you.

For over 18 years, I have dedicated my career to education within the New York City Department of Education, working alongside incredible students, educators, and families. Throughout my time in the DOE, I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of education and the importance of creating supportive, inclusive environments where every student can thrive.

While this is my first year serving as a principal, I bring with me a wealth of experience, a genuine passion for student success, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. I believe that every child deserves access to high-quality education, nurturing mentorship, and opportunities to discover their unique talents and strengths.

My vision for MS 266 is to foster a school community where students feel safe, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential. I am committed to building strong partnerships with families, supporting our dedicated staff, and ensuring that our school remains a place where learning is engaging, meaningful, and joyful.
